The Report Designer allows you to create unlimited Jobsite Reports, specific to your reporting requirements.
  1. Select Projects.
  2. Click Jobsite Report Designer

Create New Template

 1. Select New to launch the Jobsite Custom Report Designer screen.  

 

The Properties tree on the left-hand side lists all of the sections of the Jobsite LEM Report that are available for your customization.

 

1.2.1 Details

The Details screen requires you to provide a Name and Title for your report, which will be displayed for selection in the Jobsite Timesheet.  

  1. Enter Name and Report Title of your report template.  Name and Report Title are required fields.
  2. Provide a Description (optional).
  3. Check Include Signature Section if you wish a signature and date stamp to be printed at the end of your Report.
  4. If your Jobsite Template has been published, the Published box will appear checked.

 

1.2.2 Page Header

As you are creating your Custom Jobsite LEM Report, you will notice some common functionality that is present in most screens:

-          Include in Report.  Each section has an option to include for display in your Report, or to leave out.

-          Column Title.  Enter the Column Title that you wish to see for the chosen Data Field.

-          Column Width.  Enter the Column Width desired.  Column width sizes are in centimeters (cm).

-          Column Align.  Choose the alignment you wish to see for the Data Field: Left, Centre or Right.  Some fields have been ‘hard-coded’ with a specific alignment.  When this is the case, the Column Align column will appear as non-editable.

-          Include Data Field.  Within each section, there are Data Field Names available for your selection. 

To Include the Data Field in your report, check the Include box for that Data Field.

-          Sort Order.  Modify the order in which the Data Fields appear in your LEM Report by clicking the up and down arrows beside the Sort Order column.

Page Header allows you to choose the ‘header’ information that you would like to have appear at the top of each page of your LEM report. 

  1. Logo.  If selected, the logo that has been uploaded to your Company Account in Configuration will be displayed. 
  2. Jobsite Timesheet #.  The Timesheet # entered or auto-generated will be displayed. 
  3. Report Purpose. Enter a description of the purpose of the report, if desired. 

 

 

1.2.3 Report Header

The Report Header section defines the data that shows only on the first page of the report – after the page header of that page. 

 

The data fields that can be selected for the Report Header are as follows. Enter the labels you wish to see for the data fields in your LEM Report

  • Date  
  • Project Name 
  • Project Number
  • Project Manager
  • Site Foreman
  • Project Description
  • Customer Name
  • Location
  • Well Name
  • AFE/PO
  • Billing Code(s).  Note:  All Billing Codes that have been defined for your project will appear.

 

1.2.4 Labor Section

The Labor section defines the data columns to show in the transactional labor portion of the report.  

 

The available data fields to be selected and customized for the Labor Section are as follows.  

  • Resource Name
  • Resource Class
  • Resource and Resource Class Name.   If this option is selected, the Resource Name and

Resource Name will be shown in a single column – the Resource Name column and be displayed using the following format:<ResourceName> - <ResourceClass>  Quantity (Cost)

  • Quantity (Billable)
  • Rate Type
  • Cost Rate
  • Billable Rate
  • Cost
  • Billable
  • Workpackage
  • External Comments
  • Billing Code(s)

You can select from a variety of Grouping options.  The Grouping options are:

-          None

-          Resource Name

-          Resource Class

-          Resource and Resource Class Name

-          Workpackage

If a grouping option is selected, that column will not appear in the report section. If you wish to display a Subtotal for each Grouping, check the Should Subtotal checkbox. 

  

1.2.5 Labor Expenses Section

The Expenses section defines the data columns to show in the transactional Labor Expenses portion of the report.  

The available data fields to be selected and customized for the Expenses Section are as follows. Unless otherwise specified, the default value should be the same as the data field name. 

  • Expense Name
  • Expense Class
  • Expense and Expense Class Name.If this option is selected, the Resource Name and Resource Name will be shown in a single column – the Resource Name column. It will display using the

following format:<ResourceName> as <ResourceClass>  Labor Name

  • Resource Class.
  • Labor Name and Resource Class.
  • Quantity (Cost)
  • Quantity (Billable).
  • Rate Type.
  • Cost Rate.
  • Billable Rate.
  • Cost.
  • Billable.
  • Workpackage
  • External Comments

 

 

 

You can choose from a variety of grouping behaviors at two levels – Level 1 and Level 2 and if you wish to Subtotal each Grouping.

Level 1 Grouping

  • None (default)
  • Labor Name
  • Labor Class
  • Labor and Labor Class Name
  • Workpackage

Second-Level Grouping.  The second level of grouping is by Expense Name. 

  • None (default)
  • Expense Name

If a grouping option is selected, that column will not appear in the report section.  

 

1.2.6 Equipment Section

The Equipment section defines the data columns to show in the transactional Equipment portion of the report. Data Fields.  The available data fields to be selected and customized for the Equipment Section are as follows. 

  • Resource Name
  • Resource Class.
  • Resource Class and Resource Name. If this option is selected, the Resource Name and Resource Name will be shown in a single column – the Resource Name column. It will display using the

following format:<ResourceName> as <ResourceClass>  Tag Number

  • Is Maintenance.
  • Quantity
  • Rate Type
  • Cost Rate
  • Billable Rate
  • Cost.
  • Billable
  • Workpackage
  • External Comments

 

You can select from a variety of grouping option to group and subtotal the Equipment section.

  • None (default)
  • Resource Name
  • Resource Class
  • Resource Name & Resource Class
  • Workpackage

1.2.7 Materials Section

The Materials section defines the data columns to show in the transactional Materials portion of the report.  The available data fields to be selected and customized for the Materials Section are as follows.

 

  • Resource Name
  • Resource Class
  • Resource and Resource Class Name.If this option is selected, the Resource Name and Resource Name will be shown in a single column – the Resource Name column. It will display using the

following format:<ResourceName> as <ResourceClass>  Tag Number

  • Quantity
  • Rate Type
  • Cost Rate
  • Billable Rate
  • Cost
  • Billable
  • Workpackage
  • External Comments

1.2.8 Third Party Expenses

The available data fields to be selected and customized for the Third Party Expenses are as follows. 

  • Work Date
  • Resource Name
  • Resource Class
  • Resource and Resource Class Name.  If this option is selected, the Resource Name and Resource Name will be shown in a single column – the Resource Name column. It will display using the following format:<ResourceName> as <ResourceClass> 
  • Resource Type
  • Vendor Name
  • Document Number
  • Is Maintenance.
  • Quantity
  • Hours.
  • Rate Type Alias.
  • Rate Type
  • Markup Percent.
  • Markup Cost
  • Cost
  • Billable
  • Cost Rate
  • Billable Rate.
  • Pass Thru Cost
  • WBS
  • WBS and Workpackage
  • Workpackage.
  • Billing Option. 
  • Item / Description
  • Internal Comments.
  • External Comments. 
  • Billing Codes (all Customer Codes from Configuration will be displayed)
  • Workpackage and Billing Code
  • Change Order
  • Man Hours

Users can select two levels of grouping to group and subtotal the Third Party Charges section. 

First-Level Grouping

The first level of grouping is by Billing Option. Options that appear in the dropdown:

  • None (default)
  • Cost-Plus Markup
  • Pass-Thru Cost
  • Markup Only
  • No Charge

Second-Level Grouping

The following are the fields that can be grouped and that should appear in the dropdown:

  • None (default)
  • Resource Name
  • Resource Class
  • Resource and Resource Class Name
  • Resource Type
  • Workpackage

 

1.2.9 Progress Section

The Progress section defines the data columns to show in the transactional Progress portion of the report.  Progress does not have grouping.

 

The available data fields to be selected and customized for the Progress Section are as follows. Unless otherwise specified, the default value should be the same as the data field name. 

  • Workpackage
  • Rate Type
  • Estimated Quantity
  • Quantity To Date
  • Quantity Remaining
  • Unit Cost
  • Unit Price
  • Total Billable
  • External Comments

 

1.2.10        Documents 

This section allows you to select whether you want the uploaded Documents itemized as part of the report.

 

1.2.11       Daily Log

This section allows you to select whether you want the Daily Log contents displayed in the report.

 

All Daily Log sections that have been set up for your company account are displayed.  Select which Daily Log sections to include.

1.2.12       Summary Sections

There are a number of options that you may choose, to summarize your LEM data into informational groupings.  

1)      Total by LEM type i.e. Labor, Expense, Equipment, Materials, Third Party

2)      Total by Third Party type i.e. Direct, Field Receipts, Pass Thru.  Direct Third Party costs include Cost Plus Markup, Markup Only and No Charge.

3)      Total by Workpackage

4)      Total by Cost Code

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.2.13        Print Order

The Print Order screen allows you to select the specific order in which you would like each Section to appear in your LEM Report.

 

1. Select Save to save the current data and remain in the New/Edit Jobsite Template, Save and Close to save the current data and return to the Jobsite LEM Report Designer or Cancel.

 

1.3 Duplicate the Jobsite Report Template

To quickly and easily create a similar template, use the Duplicate Template feature.  After duplication, the new template will be an exact duplicate of the origin Template and will be labelled with a ‘Copy 1’ after the name.

  1. Select the Template from the grid.
  2. Select Duplicate.

 

 

1.4 Edit the Jobsite Report Template

  1. Select the Template from the grid.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Make modifications and select  Save or Save and Close.

 

1.5 Delete the Jobsite Report Template

  1. Select the Template from the grid.
  2. Select Delete.  You will receive a confirmatory alert.

 

 

1.6 Copy Template To other Projects

The Copy To feature allows you to create and share a Report Template with other projects.

  1. Select the Template from the grid.
  2. Select Copy To.  The Project Selector will appear.  
  3. Select the project(s) to Copy your Template To.
  4. Select OK or Cancel.

The copied Template will now appear in the target Project Jobsite Timesheet LEM Report, and can be further modified there.  Modifications made in a Template in one project will not change the Template in the origin project.

 

1.7 Publish and Unpublish Template To Jobsite Timesheet

In order for a Jobsite LEM Report to be made available for selection in the Jobsite Timesheet workflow, it must first be published.

  1. Select the Template in the grid.
  2. Select Publish.  You will receive a confirmatory alert.
  3. Select OK.  The Report will now be available for selection in the Jobsite Timesheet.  The Template also displays with a check in the Published column.


 

  1. To Unpublish a LEM Template, select the Template in the grid.
  2. Select Unpublish.  You will receive a confirmatory alert. 
  3. Select OK.  The LEM Template will no longer be available for selection.
